não estou conseguindo instalar as atualizações no meu ubuntu 10.04.

Ola amigos, estamos aqui de novo.

não estou conseguindo instalar as atualizações no meu ubuntu 10.04.

Vou em sistemas>administração>gerenciador de atualizações. Peço para verificar. Demora "pacas", nem espero encerar, pois todos falham, e mostra todos os estados das url como falhou.

Já troquei o servidor principal pelo Brasil no canais de software e quando peço para recarregar é a mesma coisa.

Peço desculpas por "desenterrar" este tópico, mas passo pelo mesmo problema do amigo que iniciou este tópico, e vi que este ainda não foi respondido.

Obs.: Minha conexão via internet funciona (navego normalmente), e mesmo alterando o servidor de atualização para o principal (o padrão é o brasileiro), o problema persiste.

Essa alteração no arquivo sources.list não serve para quem queria testar o Ubuntu 10.04 antes de ser lançado? Pelo menos foi isso o que entendi sobre a descrição da dica do referido link.

Como citou que já trocou de repositorios, EUA/Brasil, etc.

E navega normalmente no Internet, só pode ser algum firewall bloqueando, de sua maquina ou de seu provedor.

Testei todas as suas entradas daqui de minha maquina e todas funcionam.

Realmente era o proxy de meu provedor que estava bloqueando as atualizações. Entrei em contato com um administrador da rede e ele me forneceu um sources.list próprio do provedor, contendo links do tipo http://[nomedoprovedor].archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu e alteração de nome de servidor no arquivo /etc/resolv.conf.

Agradeço a você principalmente, e ao clodoaldops por ajudarem a resolver meu problema.
