Notebook CCE OneBlack - Conector de fone de ouvido vs Som nas caixas embutidas

Boa tarde a todos. Utilizando do Ubuntu 9.04, estou deparando-me com um problema com a saída de som.
No windows vista, ao colocar os fones de ouvido, ele desliga as caixas de som embutidas no notebook e direciona o som para os fones. Já no ubuntu, isso não ocorre. Mesmo conectando o fone, o som ainda continua saindo pelas caixas de som, apesar do som sair pelos fones de ouvido.

Como posso resolver esse assunto?
