abre um terminal ( menu Aplicações > Acessórios > Terminal) e digita:

sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

e cola aqui o conteúdo do arquivo que irá ser aberto (sources.list), está parecendo que na linha 76 deste arquivo tem um texto em uma formatação errada.

Você por um acaso modificou sua sources.list original?

Torno a repetir cole aqui o conteúdo total do arquivo sources.list

Se isso que você comentou acime está na sua sources.list, ela está errada pois não se deve ter este tipo de texto.

Sua sources.list está totalmente errada. Primeiro os repositórios de onde o apt-get vai baixar estão praticamente todos comentados (símbolo # no inicio dos textos) significando que eles vão ser ignorados e como não tem nenhum habilitado ele vai sempre dizer que não encontrou nada para baixar. Segundo entradas do tipo sudo apt-get update e sudo apt-get install -y skype não são listas de repositórios e sim apenas comandos para serem dados no terminal.

A solução, abra um terminal ( menu Aplicações > Acessórios > Terminal) e digite:

sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list    [tecle ENTER]

no arquivo que abrir apague tudo dele e copie e cole isto:

Bem isso ocorre porque você não adicionou nenhuma chave de autenticação antes, pelas dicas do fórum não indicam nada neste sentido, então acho que bastaria você seguir em frente.

Deu certo Alarcon, o Skype esta funcionando e as atualizações que não estavam fazendo por causa do erro estão normais.

Quanto ao microfone eu não sei, procure no pesquisar na página principal do fórum que penso ter visto algo a esse respeito (Skype + Microfone).
