DUAL BOOT Ubuntu, Vista, XP

Intalei o Ubuntu 7.04 no hd de 320 gb onde ja tinha o Vista ocupando 220 gb e achei legal como o Ubuntu tinha acesso aos arquivos do Vista e tambem ao outro hd de 20 gb que estava de slave. Assim não tinha problema pra dar o boot ora no Ubuntu ora no Vista.
Mas depois resolvi instalar o Ubuntu no hd ide de 20 gb e por o XP nos 100 gb que o Ubuntu estava ocupando antes. Só que agora não consigo mais dar o boot no Vista. La no começo onde aparece as opções de boot está escrito windows vista mas é uma opção mentirosa pois quando a seleciono  é o XP que se inicializa...
Não consigo mais abrir o Vista.
Mas o Ubuntu continua "vendo" as 2 partições onde estão o Vista e o XP
O que eu faço?

da uma olhada no /boot/grub/menu.lst e v c tah direitinho o arquivo!
ve também quais sistemas vc tem nas particoes!

Eu instalei o XP e logo em seguida instalei o Ubuntu...
Só depois fui ver a questão do boot.
Onde eu vejo /boot/grub/menu.lst ?
No terminal?
Não sei nada de linux. aliás, não sei quase nada sobre sistema operacional nenhum...
Sei mal-e-mal navegar na internet
Mas estou disposto a aprender

Exato... e não se preocupe, logo estará muito mais à vontade no Linux do que em qualquer outro sistema, porque aqui é você quem controla o sistema, e não o contrário...

Olha só, se o desejo é apenas o de ver o arquivo /boot/menu/grub não existe a necessidade de ir ao terminal, bastando acessá-lo através do Editor de Textos (Aplicações > Acessórios). Agora se o desejo é abri-lo pelo terminal você deve mesmo usar o terminal e digitar o comando:

Ou ainda pode-se teclar Alt+F2, e na caixa Executar Aplicação que se abre digitar a linha:

gksudo gedit /boot/grub/menu.lst

Como podem ver algumas linhas acima, está o title       Windows Vista/Longhorn (loader), mas na verdade é o XP que inicia quando seleciono esse comando.
Agora suponho que é aqui que devo adicionar o loader do XP  e do Vista para ter opção de boot nos dois além do ubuntu
Como faço?

Você tem certeza que não instalou o XP em cima do Windows Vista? Pergunto isto porque a chamada esta para partição hd0,0, que deveria ser a primeira partição, e portanto a do vista.

Execute o comando abaixo no terminal e retorne o resultado aqui na lista por favor.

tenho o Vista OEM e quero experimentar o Ub 7.10 mas não posso perder meus 60GB de dados...
