ERRO: waiting for root file system...

Olá,

Estou tentando instalar o live cd ubuntu 6.06.1 no meu notebook P4 M1,6 512ddr2 hd sata 40gb, particionado : sda2 - ntfs, sda3 - swap, sda4 - ext3, sda5 - ntfs.

a instalação ocerre normalmente, mas quando tento iniciar o ubuntu dá esse erro..

Aguardo ajuda.
