Desde ontem (10/02/2007) toda vez que tento instalar qualquer pacote recebo a seguinte mensagem "W: Falha ao obter http://br.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/l/language-pack-gnome-en/language-pack-gnome-en_6.10+20070115_all.deb
  Falaha temporária resolvendo 'br.archive.ubuntu.com'"
Pensei que fosse um problema temporário no servidor, mas hoje já  esta quase fazendo 48 horas que o mesmo problema persiste.
Alguem tem alguma informação a respeito?

Dá um sudo apt-get update , e tenta instalar o pacote de novo...Se não der certo, mande sua /etc/apt/sources.list aqui...

chiferreira, fiz o sudo apt-get update e deu o mesmo erro aqui também, mas consegui instalar o brasero que esta nos repositórios do ubuntu. Diz aê oque você esta tentando instalar que dá o erro para eu tentar aqui tambím...

Estou tentando instalar o Amule

chlferreira, antes de tentar baixar, faça o seguinte. Eu tenho o ubuntu 6.10 e quando eu fiz alt+f2 e executeio o alacarte eu vi que o amule já estar instalado mas o ícone deste não estava selecionado. Tente ae e vê se dar certo assim (antes de tentar baixa-lo novamente, hehe!), Ah! Tem como me dar uma ajudinha também, como é que eu faço pra conectar o amule para puxar músicas, não to dando conta!

Cara não esta instalado aqui ainda não, e por enquanto tambem não sei como funciona o Amule, agradeço por sua ajuda, assim que eu conseguir instalar vejo se consigo te ajudar.

Ih galera, aqui também ta acontecendo o mesmo! E ontem eu fiz uma nova source.list aqui do site. O que será que estar acontecendo?

Aqui esta funcionando tudo certinho...inclusive instalei o aMule e funcionou perfeitamente...Sobre o aMule para se conectar primeiro na tela principal cole isto aqui http://ocbmaurice.dyns.net/pl/slist.pl?download/server-best.met e dê ENTER para ele carregar todos os servidores e pronto...ele vai se conectar automaticamente no melhor servidor (você pode se conectar manualmente, dando dois clikes no servidor)..Vou ver se consigo resolver esse problema de vocês sobre não conseguir pegar nada...

Achei a solução!!! O br.archive.ubuntu.com está fora do ar, por quanto tempo eu não sei...Solução provisória : Basta editar a sources.lits e tirar o br e usar o repositório internacional que vai tudo funcionar...Depois quando voltar é só editar de novo..O nosso é mais rápido mas, por enquanto usem o internacional...

leandrovargas, o internacional já vem na source.list ou agente tem que colocar, e se tiver qual é o link correto e se quando eu querer acrescentar um repositorio onde procurar? Desculpe pela ignorancia, mas eu sou novato e to tentando aprender. Outra pergunta como é que funciona esses repositórios, como é que constroi eles? e quando agente faz um apt-get install programa_qualquer, esse pacote do programa vem como, .deb, .rpm?
Pode me explicar para entender melhor!

Neynder, não precisa editar mais sua sources.list não...Os nossos repositórios já voltaram a funcionar normalmente..Tente instalar de novo e vê se vai dar erro..se der retorne os resultados aqui..
