Problemas com o mouse PS2

Meu mouse às vezes fica 'louco'. O cursor pula de um lugar para outro (normalmente nos cantos da tela) e ocorrem cliques 'involutários'.

Fiz uma pesquisa rápida nas mensages de log (/var/log/messages) e encontrei as seguintes mensagens:

Sep 14 21:47:40 localhost kernel: [17181936.276000] psmouse.c: Mouse at isa0060/serio1/input0 lost synchronization, throwing 2 bytes away.


Alguém pode me ajudar? Está difícil usar o computador. Só ao escrever esta mensagem, o problema aconteceu 3 vezes.
