[RESOLVIDO] compilação de programas (sofrimento na instalação de .tar.gz)

ola pessoal,e desculpa por essa duvida que vocês ja devem tar cansados de responder

e sobre instalar programas em .tar.gz, que necessita de compilação,correto?

pois é,dai eu começo a pesquizar e não acho se quer 1 tutorial,somente forums de pessoas relatando o mesmo problema

e todos falam: instala o gcc,se não conseguiu é que não ta instalado...

mas não é assim,to com o gcc mais novo instalado e instalei diversos pacotes e não consigo de jeito ne um.

um que tou tentando é o kopete mais novo (.tar.gz)

Já expliquei que o processo de compilação de pacotes é um processo cheio de dependências a resposta para sua questão está na primeira citação, mas muitos outros erros virão e aí que vc deve ter um know-how pra descobrir o que é necessário.
vou colocar citações de 2 outros tópicos onde a resposta é satisfatória para você.
antigamente bastaria instalar o pacote xlibs-dev ou x-devpara solucionar seu problema :-) tenta a sorte.

Você instalou os pacotes de desenvolvimento do xorg ?
deve ter um sufixo -dev procure no synaptic e instale que certamente o problema será resolvido
pelo menos este,  at tarefa de compilar programas requer um pouco de conhecimento sobre as dependências do mesmo
certamente muitos outros problemas aparecerão, experimente procurar aqui no fórum por apt-build "ru não uso" pois já estou calejado de compilar programas, veja se não tem algum tópico explicando com usá-lo, pois ele facilita a tarefa de compilação...
caso opte pelo caminho mai difícl tenha em mente que quando ele reclamar a falta de png-2.0.pc ou algo parecido vc deve procurar o pacote correspondente "libpng-dev" ou algo parecido e por aí vai Boa sorte na empreitada ;-)

leve em consideração o seguinte, o processo de compilação é semelhante ao processo de instalação de pacotes, para compilar os programas, será necessário você ter os algumas bibliotecas de desenvolvimento -dev instaladas no seu sistema, é um processo meio complicado...mesmo após você instalar o build-essential, vão haver outros erros como Xlibs,mp*,ogg* etc.. etc..
que serão necessárias para habilitar o suporte a outros tipos de arquivos de áudio, sem contar a bibliotecas -dev do GTK2.
então para não deixar su sistema inchado de bibliotecas de desenvolvimento, a solução é usar o pacote binário disponível nos repositórios.

ba cara muito obrigado pela sua ajuda .

consegui completar o ./configure (deu alguns no,e uns warnings,mas terminou sem erro)

e dai fui ao make para finalizar a instalação do programa (no caso o kopete)

e então quando dei o make,começou muitos e muitos linhas . e sem parar deixei por mais de 30min e não terminava dai parei

num programa de apenas 5mb isso é normal demorar tanto? por favor me desculpe por essa pergunta ignorante

na compilação eu sei que é demorado em alguns programas,mas demorar tanto num athlon64 com 1gb de ram?

ixx nem sei te dizer eu compilo pacotes maiores que este na minha máquina e demora mas não tudo isto, e olha que minha máquina e chin-frin P3 933@980 com 512MB.

ba nem sei o que dizer... resolvi esperar aquele tempão abisurdo.. com milhares de erros e warnings

pensei que não ia da em nada ou que ia da erro,mas chego uma hora que paro (me expante,ehehe)

dei o make install (puli o make check,ja tava exausto de experar)

e intão funcionou.. ta aberto aqui,agora vou fazer todos os testes e ver se fico 100%
