Problema com audio - Ubuntu 11.10 - Via VT8237A/VT8251 HDA Controller

Pessoal, venho a este fórum como a última esperança para tentar resolver o meu problema com o driver de audio. Tenho o Ubuntu 11.10 instalado em minha máquina e uma placa de audio (onboard) VT8237A/VT8251 HDA Controller.

O meu problema é que o Ubuntu nem sempre reconhece a placa de audio. Na maioria das vezes que inicio o Ubuntu o audio não funciona e tenho que dá um monte de comando tipo rm -R ~/.pulse ou reinstalar o alsa e reiniciar o computador para que o audio volte a funcionar. Isso é constante o pior é que nas configurações de som, na aba Saída só fica um dispositivo de "Saída Fictícia" e nada do meu hardware.

Esse problema tá me deixando maluco porque já pesquisei por bastante tempo pela net e encontrei diversas pessoas com o mesmo problema que eu, mas sem solução.

Alguém pode me ajudar com relação ao meu audio? Informo que já tentei comandos como rm -R ~/.pulse, reinstalar o pulseaudio e reiniciar o pc, e as vezes funciona, mas depois retorna novamente a desaparecer o som e o driver da placa.

Tava pensado por aqui em fazer um script para ser executado quando desligar/reiniciar o ubuntu com o comando sudo rm -R ~./pulse já que utilizo esse comando muitas vezes para retornar o som.

Alguém sabe se é possível fazer isso?
