Boot antes do plyumoth - Tela preta e 1 minuto de espera.

Olá amigos do fórum,

Tenho um problema com o boot do meu ubuntu 11.04, que está extremamente lento, isso após eu ter instalado minha placa de vídeo (geforce gt 430) dentro dele, isso á uns 6 meses atrás, mas como eu não encontrei solução que resolva

O meu problema é após o menu do grub, quando vou entrar no ubuntu, ele fica com a tela preta e apenas um cursor de texto branco em cima, onde eu posso digitar qualquer coisa, sem resposta alguma. Isso permanece por cerca de 1 minuto, quando aí então aparece um pequeno "flash" do plyumoth, e então o Login screen.

O problema não parece ser os drivers da nvidia com o plyumoth, pois já tentei todos os "fixes" que encontrei na internet e não resolveram.

No dmesg, aparece algumas linhas que indicam uma "pausa" no startup de uns 20 segundos:
