Retorno do comando apt-get update (RESOLVIDO)

Amigos do forum, tenho instalado em meu netbook o Ubuntu 11.04 e está funcionando maravilhosamente bem. Agora estou intrigado com uma extensa relação de linhas "Ign http://..." que surge ao dar o comando apt-get update. Isso é normal? Anexo o meu arquivo etc/apt/sources.list e o resultado do comando apt-get update. Agradeço orientação.

Olá vfarias quanto ao "Ign" não sei muito bem lhe explicar, mas, se mesmo usando o "Servidor do Brasil" você está atualizando o sistema sem maiores problemas não tem o que se preocupar comigo isso também aparece e jamais me causou problema.

Mas acho (salvo engano) que tem alguma coisa a ver com linhas comentadas na sua sources.list. Aguarde a opinião de alguém experiente.

Contudo se preferir ver se não acontece o "Ign" no update do Servidor Principal é so mudar no Synaptic.

...quanto ao "Ign" não sei muito bem lhe explicar...

IGN vem do Inglês => Ignoring (ignorando)

Quando se dá um apt-get update o pacote responsavel pela verificação de pacotes, o dpkg, checa pelos hashes ( resumo ) dos pacotes nos repositórios.

Caso o hash em sua maquina seja igual ao hash do repositorio, nada há a ser instalado então aquele repositório é IGNorado.

Caso não fosse desta maneira, haveria a necessidade de se examinar arquivo a arquivo ( uns 50.000) para ver que estaria instalado ou não, e se instalado qual sua versão.

Neste outro exemplo tirado do sources postado, um diálogo em "humanêz" do que acontece:
