Ubuntu 11.04 reiniciando sozinho

OI, possuo um notebook Sony-Vaio, versao original da distro: 10.04, atualizada pelo sistema de upgrades para 11.04, já deu muito problema, mas hoje em dia, o ubuntu 11.04 no meu note só enfrenta 1: a reinicialização de pelo menos 3 vezes ao dia, quase todos os dias.

Instalei o lm-sensors, executei sensors no terminal e nao vejo nada demais lá:

Observe os arquivos de log (/var/log/syslog e /var/log/messages) logo após a máquina reiniciar, pra ver se há alguma pista do motivo.
Pesquise antes de perguntar, sua dúvida pode já ter sido respondida.

Estou começando achar que é algum bug do sistema.
Pq no meus 2 notebooks um dell vostro 1000 e em eepc 1008ha está reiniciando sozinho também.

Sim, na verdade, isso ocorre todas as vezes que eu instalava e atualizava pra versao 11.04, entao nao tem como ser culpa minha, pois eu estudo muito o linux desde o ano passado e saberia corrigir este problema... =/

Dei uma pesquisada rapida e pelo jeito parece ser um bug conhecido e que já se arrasta desde o lançamento da versão.

Dei uma pesquisada rapida e pelo jeito parece ser um bug conhecido e que já se arrasta desde o lançamento da versão.

Mas, se está fazendo log off, alguém já tentou criar um novo usuario e usar o modo classico sem efeitos neste usuario para testar?

Muito do que tenho lido sobre logoff de perfil diz respeito ao uso do compiz que está sendo reformulado.

Se sem o compiz (classico sem efeitos) o sistema estabilizar, esta aí a resposta.

Caso funcione, reinicie o usuario "de teste" com o modo normal ( Unity) e altere no compiz (por experimentação ) a renderização glx, aceleração de video, etc.

Se estabilizado o sistema, aplique as modificações no usuario "normal".

Descobri algo, neste exato momento...

No gerenciador de atualizações, configure para obter os pacotes do servidor principal, o padrao do meu estava para servidor do Brasil, após isto, foram baixadas muitas atualizações até mesmo para todos os softwares instalados....

Ah, marque também os servidores da canonical, em alguns casos, nao sei o motivo mas eles aparecem desmarcados ;)

No meu caso, pelo menos por enquanto, hoje nao reiniciou, mas assim que puder, vou ficar um dia inteiro utilizando linux pra testar...

Qualquer coisa, me diga se parou de reiniciar ;)

Aqui ainda não tive problemas com reiniciamento, mais uma vez ou outra a tela fica só o wallpaper e some tudo por uns 15 segundos, depois volta, chego a ficar com o coração na mão, estou com o 11.04 faz uns 20 dias e ja aconteceu umas 4 vezes, alguem tem ideia do que seja?
Livre dos DitaNets, eu uso Linux.

Man, se puder fazer o teste que citei acima, agradeceria muito... no meu caso nao posso realizar, pois fui contrataro aqui e to com um projeto com tempo contado =/

Eu apenas atualizei agorinha do jeito que eu citei, mas nao vou poder ficar uns dias no ubuntu pra testar se vai parar ou nao... ;)
