Wireless no Ubuntu

Olá pessoal...

Ontem instalei o UBUNTU 10.10 no meu notebook (HP Pavillion dv-1465)... Comecei a gostar da coisa até perceber que minha wireless nao está subindo, algo como se o hardware nao tivesse sido identificado...

Existe algum procedimento para que eu consiga resolver isso???

abra o terminal e digite lá lspci <enter>
o resultado cole aqui, p/ o fórum ter noção da sua configuração

Instale os pacotes "b43-fwcutter" e "bcmwl-kernel-source".

Onde eu baixo esses pacotes???

rodo a Instalacao por dentro do Ubuntu mesmo???

Se vc tiver uma conexão alternativa (p.ex. por cabo ou 3G), pode usar o gerenciador de pacotes, o synaptics ou a linha de comandos.

Ex:

sudo apt-get install b43-fwcutter bcmwl-kernel-source

Se não tiver, pode baixar a partir daqui:

http://packages.ubuntu.com/maverick/b43-fwcutter/
http://packages.ubuntu.com/maverick/bcmwl-kernel-source/

Tenha o cuidado de baixar a versão específica pra seu sistema --- se vc instalou o sistema em 64 bits, tem que baixar a versão de 64 bits. Se instalou em 32 bits (e se vc não sabe se instalou uma versão ou outra, provavelmente instalou em 32 bits), deve baixar a versão correspondente.
