Converter pyGTK para pyQT

Tenho um pequeno código escrito utilizando pyGTK e gostaria que ele funcionasse de forma parecida, só que utilizando pyQt, já que ele será utilizado agora no KDE.

Alguém pode me ajudar a "traduzir" para pyQt?

ou rode dessa forma mesmo, as dependências são minimas o ganho vai ser irrisório ou nulo.
