Gimp 2.7 via GIT ubuntu 8.10 problema na hora de compilar

to desde sexta tentando instalar via GIT, fora varios errors que peguei na hora de compilar os packages, desde GLIB desaparecida e tals
esse um não consegui resolver, na hora de compilar o GEGL:
segui esse tutorial: http://shallowsky.com/linux/gimpbuild.html

e depois de ./autogen.sh --prefix=/usr/local/gimp-git na diretorio do GEGL ele retorna isso:

Até ae tudo bem, eu achava, mais após o Make, começam os erros :S :

Dae por causa desses erros ae que não faço ideia de como resolver, ele não instala o GEGL e não me deixa instalar o Gimp 2.7 :\

Instala o Ubuntu tweak, lá tem como adicionar o repositório do gimp de desenvolvimento (2.7), dai da para instalar pelo synaptic, que já instala todas as dependencias ou pelo tweak mesmo. :D

erm :\ rolou não, só tem 2.6 lá :( e o night build e PPA são só pro 9.04, 9.10 e 10.04 DD:

de volta a prancheta de solução de erros do GEGL então :\
porque sipá só ele q ta me zuando, se ele instalasse seria possivel instalar o source do gimp ;s e fim eu acho
mais esses erros de Make e tals eu não sei resolver :(

Instala este aqui e tenta novamente para ver se funciona.

Tenta assim

Instalando todas as dependencias:

$ sudo apt-get build-dep gimp

Instalando babl 0.1.0:


$ mkdir src
$ cd src
$ wget ftp://ftp.gtk.org/pub/babl/0.1/babl-0.1.0.tar.bz2
$ tar jxvf babl-0.1.0.tar.bz2
$ cd babl-0.1.0
$ ./configure --prefix=/usr
$ make
$ sudo make install


Instalando GEGL 0.1.0:


$ cd ../
$ wget ftp://ftp.gimp.org/pub/gegl/0.1/gegl-0.1.0.tar.bz2
$ tar jxvf gegl-0.1.0.tar.bz2
$ cd gegl-0.1.0
$ ./configure --prefix=/usr
$ make
$ sudo make install

E finalmente instalando o GIMP 2.7:


$ cd ../
$ wget ftp://ftp.gimp.org/pub/gimp/v2.7/gimp-2.7.0.tar.bz2
$ tar jxvf gimp-2.7.0.tar.bz2
$ cd gimp-2.7.0
$ ./configure --prefix=/usr
$ make
$ sudo make install
