ffmpeg não instala no ubuntu 9.10

ffmpeg  não instala no ubuntu 9.10 , tenho todos os repositórios activados mas mesmo assim diz que falta dependências, queria instalar o kdenlive, sem o  ffmpeg ele não instala
como resolver isto ?

Tente ir no Gerenciador de Pacotes Synaptic e tente achar esse pacote lá.

o problema que se passa era que eu tinha vários repositórios com versões diferentes  dos mesmos pacotes, alguns dos repositórios não forneçam todas as dependências para instalar exemplo  o libavfilter-extra-0 necessário para instalar o kdenlive

a solução foi utilizar só os repositórios do servidor oficial do Ubuntu e instalou o kdenlive

obs: no meu caso compilei o ffmpeg  e instalei no sistema , caso alguém não consiga instalar o ffmpeg do servidor, aqui fica o link, como compilar a ultima versão do ffmpeg,
