Tenho o linux 7.04 intalei e usava normalmente, recentemente ao iniciar aparece uma mensagem intrafs, algo assim, e não dar continuidade na inicialização, me ajudem por favor!!!

Sem a mensagem correta ou o conjunto de mensagens não dá para pesquisar e tentar saber nada.

Linux 7.04 ou Ubuntu 7.04?

Humm isso está me parecendo que você tentou alguma instalação de algo novo ou tentou corrigir alguma coisa de deu problema.

É o que tenho feito em conjunto com outros colegas mas convenhamos que uma ajuda remota é difícil pois precisamos ter muita informação e paciência para entender o problema e verificar a viabilidade de ter uma ajuda eficaz.  É necessário que você também se ajude e insista com outras tentativas.  Infelizmente nem sempre temos uma receita fácil.  Portanto vá desculpando, ok?

Tente desinstalar o BusyBox; eis a descrição dele no Synaptic:

"Tiny utilities for small and embedded systems
BusyBox combines tiny versions of many common UNIX utilities into a single
small executable. It provides minimalist replacements for the most common
utilities you would usually find on your desktop system (i.e., ls, cp, mv,
mount, tar, etc.). The utilities in BusyBox generally have fewer options than
their full-featured GNU cousins; however, the options that are included
provide the expected functionality and behave very much like their GNU
counterparts.

This package installs the BusyBox binary but does not install symlinks
for any of the supported utilities. You can use /bin/busybox --install
to install BusyBox to the current directory (you do not want to do this
in / on your Debian system!)."

Se você o instalou via Synaptic, remova-o por lá; este pacote não é instalado por default com o Ubuntu.

  Você chegou a iniciar o sistema perfeitamente? O que você fez exatamente se você já chegou a entrar no Ubuntu?
  É isso que queremos saber.
