Por incrível que pareça, mesmo seguindo as dicas aki do fórum, ainda não consigo fazer funcionar minha placa de captura acima no Ubuntu 7.04...

Vou dar o exemplo da minha placa que é uma Leadtek WinFast 2000 XP, é a placa nº 34 e o tuner é o nº 41 na lista acima, apenas adiciono 3 linhas no arquivo rc.local.

EDITAR RC.LOCAL QUE ESTA EM /ETC/INIT.D
Adicionar no Final:

rmmod bt878
rmmod bttv
modprobe bttv card=34 tuner=41

Reinicio o sistema e instalo o software tvtime pra assistir.

Isto vale para o Debian,Ubuntu,Fedora,Gentoo, testei em todos eles e a solução é a mesma.

Agora se for uma placa que não tenha driver no kernel, dai realmente fica complicado...
