Impressora só imprime uma vez e trava.

Estou usando o Ubuntu 17.04, memória de 11,7 GiB, processador Intel® Core™ i7 CPU 930 @ 2.80GHz × 8, Placa de Video GeForce GTX 1060 6GB/PCIe/SSE2, 64-bit, HDD de 223,5 GB e HD de 1T

Adquiri uma impressora Xerox Phaser 3260 e agora tenho o seguinte problema: ela só imprime uma vez, na impressão seguinte ela manda uma página com algum texto tipo:

"xec exch exec }{exch pop} ifelse dup 4 l roll put} bind def/resolveA {2 index 2 index g..."e mais seis folhas em branco.

Se desligo a impressora e restarto o computador, consigo mais uma impressão e assim por diante... Dei uma lida em postagens na rede e localizei no spooler do CUPS o Error_log e Error_log1.

Em Error_log1 de Ontem, onde tinha tentado (re)instalar a Impressora e depois instalar um Driver novo. Não deu certo.

Acabei optando pela instalação normal automática do Ubuntu.
