Erro no apt-get update: Falha temporária resolvendo 'br.archive.ubuntu.com'

Caros, fui executar o update dos cabeçalhos e recebi  isto (abaixo). Parece recente.

O domínio br.archive.ubuntu.com não está respondendo. Isso é falha ou houve mudança nos servidores de update? Como corrigir isto?

Experimente trocar de servidor.

Provavelmente o do Brasil está em manutenção.

Bom dia Tota,

Servidores passam por manutenções ou indisponibilidades temporária. Isso faz parte e é previsto. Neste caso, IMHO deveria haver uma mensagem no site orientado sobre isso e os procedimentos de contingência. Acho que o apt-get deveria ter também algum mecanismo de vários servidores de contingência, caso um esteja fora (talvez já tenha este recurso mas eu desconheço).

De repente pode ser uma sugestão de melhoria.

BTW, o servidor já voltou.
