Driver ethernet intel I217-V para o Ubuntu 15.04

Bom dia!

Estou com dificuldade para fazer funcionar o dispositivo ethernet I217-V da Intel no Ubuntu 15.04. Baixei o driver do site do fabricante https://downloadcenter.intel.com/pt-br/search?keyword=Intel+Ethernet+Connection+I217-V, porém após concluir a instalação do driver e inserir o módulo no kernel o mesmo continua sem funcionar.

Procurei vários tópicos na internet, mas não achei nenhum que relate o problema em específico, nem mesmo em versões anteriores da distro. Abaixo segue as informações do hardware, dos módulos do kernel e do arquivo blacklist.conf.

Estou com o mesmo problema.

A máquina veio com o Mandriva instalado e lá tudo funciona.

Para fins de complementar os testes instalei neste notebook o Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, após instalei e adicionei o módulo no kernel e o dispositivo funcionou perfeitamente.
No Ubuntu 14.04 LTS após instalar e adicionar o módulo no kernel para que este  inicialize com o sistema operacional, o mesmo não acontece.
Acredito que o problema seja o driver que não é compatível com a versão atual da distro e seu respectivo kernel, pois em outros computadores onde uso o Ubuntu 14.04 LTS todos os drivers funcionam perfeitamente.
