Problema com APT.

Eu precisava atualizar o Ubuntu, mas não fiz isso, de vez em quando aparece para atualizar, mas não consigo. E provavelmente foi por causa disso que deu esse problema no comando... Quando eu dou "apt-get install (programa)" ou até com o aptitude ele não se conecta com o repositório, já dei um update, mas é o mesmo sistema do apt-get install, pois precisa conectar-se aos repositórios. Alguém tem alguma solução?

Qual versão do Ubuntu está usando? Qual erro aparece?
Poste o seu sources.list para o pessoal analisar melhor.

Ele não consegue se conectar com os repositórios. Ele fica em estado de conexão, mas não obtém uma resposta do servidor.

Abra o Gerenciador de Atualizações (sudo update-manager), vá na guia "Aplicativos Ubuntu", e no campo "Baixar de:", muda para "Servidor-Brasil", feche o gerenciador e execute em terminal sudo apt-get update
