estou com este erro no ubuntu 12.04 LTS, tmbm não consigo fazer actualizações nem instalar nada.

abra o synaptic,e ele vai mostrar qual o erro e aperte pra corrigir.

humm pelo visto parece que tens pacotes quebrados faça o sequinte

abra o terminal e digite

sudo apt-get upgrade

sudo apt-get install -f

sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

humm

isto e ruim pois ate onde eu sei estes comandos iriam resolver teu problema mas isto e coisa pro  synaptic

no caso parece que os teus pacotes estao em conflito

no caso voce instalou o gerenciador de pacotes  synaptic

caso nao eu nao terei ideia do que fazer para resolver teu caso.

nao me digam que for ter que resolver o problema como no windows... formatar  ???

eu não instalei nenhum pacote do synaptic, apenas fiz as actualizações necessárias e nada mais.

Mas qual poderá ter sido o motivo para os meus pacotes estarem em conflito? algum virus?  :o

virus nao na verdade pacotes antigos e novos raramente entram em conflito mas isto pode ter acontecido no teu caso

por isto toda a nessecidade do synaptic pois ele pode corrigir isto em alguns minutos.

escreva synapitc no menu do ubuntu e vai aparecer ele,é só clicar,fornecer sua senha e pronto,ele vai abrir,e poste o que ele mostrar.

Exprimentei logo isso. Mas não aparece nada :/

tente esse comando então:
dpkg --configure -a
e poste o que saiu,mas antes,se quiser saber se o synaptic está isntalado,rode esse comando:
sudo apt-get install synaptic
