Não Consigo istalar nada no ubuntu 11.10

Tento atualizar, instalar  pelo Central de Programas do Ubuntu, mas naum consigo, alguns pede para usar a fonte universe mais da erro...
 aparece assim :

Dando um ping para os repositorios recebi resposta que estão funcionando normalmente.

Ou voce altera os seus repositórios de servidor principal para outro mais proximo a voce
