Arquivos TIFF no Ubuntu [Resolvido]

O "Anexo.tif" eu consegui. Apareceram 8 arquivos .bmp de mais ou menos 12MB, cada um com uma página do documento. Já o "Inicial.tif" eu não consegui ainda, só apareceram imagens pretas e nada mais.
Agora abri o "Inicial.tif" no Shotwell Viewer e deu a seguinte mensagem: "Faltando arquivo fonte da foto: /home/eliseu/Inicial.tif". Talvez o arquivo esteja corrompido.

Pode ser um formato salvo no arquivo original que esteja dando esse problema.
o formato .tiff possui umas compressões no salvamento: http://artesfinais.com/tiffs-e-a-compressao-lzw
normalmente, eu evito usar tais compressões para não perder qualidade da imagem, mas pode ser que seja alguma delas que esteja causando isso. apesar de que o gimp, tem por exemplo, a opção 'lzw'.

O ImageMagick já estava instalado no Ubuntu e mesmo assim não resolveu.

Não estou conseguindo visualizar no Ubuntu alguns arquivos TIFF baixados do site do Tribunal Regional Federal da 1ª Região.

Digo alguns porque determinados arquivos TIFF o Ubuntu exibe corretamente, mas outros não consigo abrir. Isso não tem a ver com a versão atual do Ubuntu, pois eu já havia notado o mesmo problema nas versões anteriores. Procurei na internet mas não achei nada específico, e aqui no fórum há alguns tópicos que tratam de problemas relacionados a arquivos TIFF em múltiplas páginas (http://ubuntuforum-br.org/index.php/topic,72687.0.html), o que não vem ao caso.

Procurei na internet mas não achei nada específico, e aqui no fórum há alguns tópicos que tratam de problemas relacionados a arquivos TIFF em múltiplas páginas (http://ubuntuforum-br.org/index.php/topic,72687.0.html), o que não vem ao caso.

Esses arquivos são criados pelo setor responsável do próprio TRF, ou seja, não tenho como determinar a mudança do padrão, até porque nem sei mesmo ao certo o que está causando essa incompatibilidade.

Uma alternativa que pensei é instalar via Wine um dos programas para Windows sugeridos no site do TRF, mas gostaria de tentar uma solução nativa do Ubuntu, se é que existe. Pode ser que exista algum pacote que não vem instalado por padrão no sistema ou alguma configuração que resolveria o problema. Mas outro problema é descobrir qual seria esse pacote ou configuração, e eu não faço a menor ideia.

Idem, o Anexo abre normal pois a formato de compressão é atual, g4
já o outro exibe muitos erros no final, se eu encontrar algo por aí com a solução eu posto aqui, vou continuar procurando, uma solução.

Acho que isto resolve.

É só escolher a versão (32 ou  64bits) e ler o README (para criar os atalhos nos menus), basicamente
Você baixa, extrai o pacote, entra no diretório e executa ./xnview.sh
PS: Como eu não tinha nada do qt instalado aqui ele pediu para que eu instalasse a libphonon4

PS2:Este arquivo está corrompido, só porque abre não quer dizer que não esteja corrompido
o desenvolvedor simplesmente pode colocar para o programa ignorar os erros simples da biblioteca utilizada.
