Ajuda com ubuntu, não reconhece o drive de cd.

Seguinte instalei o ubuntu no meu note pela USB e ele simplesmente não reconhece o drive de CD utilizei o seguinte comando:



dmesg | grep -i cd e não achei nada referente ao sr0 ou 1, existe algum comando que fala o ubuntu reconhecer o drive de cd?

sim está totalmete atualizado simplesmente não instala, não tem o arquivo sr0 e nem o 1

Não sei lhe dizer ao certo , mais fiz todas as atualizações de bios da placa mãe , placa de video , firmware de hd e unidade de midia , nem sabia que havia tantas  , muito cuidado , pois eles não recomendam fazer em hd com dados dentro.
Instalei o ubuntu aqui , funciona perfeitamente , apesar que meus hard não são bem comum.
Veja se tem alguma atualização , do mesmo , talvez seja isto , cdrw mau apagado não é detectado ! Se estiver com midia danificada também , tente outra midia ou reinicie com a gaveta aberta e depois feche , faça uns testes.
Quem sabe seja uma dessas opções que citei.
