Conky - Dúvidas e dificuldades

Boa noite.
Depois de muita pesquisa sobre o conky, baixei e modifiquei um script que achei que atende minha necessidade. Porem apareceram alguns problemas. Vamos por partes:
1 - Não consigo que ele mostre as temperaturas.
2 - Não consigo deixa-lo transparente.
3 - Aparecem alguns endereços na parte que diz "Outbound Connections" que não entendo. Seriam tentativas de invasão? Tentei jogar os endereços que aparecem no Firefox mas não esclareceu nada.
Se tiverem alguma idéia do que representam tais endereços agradeço se se devo ativar um firewall para me dar mais segurança.

Estou postando um Print do conky para voces terem idéia do que estou falando.

Agradeço toda a ajuda, pois gostei muito do conky e gostaria de continuar usando e aperfeiçoa-lo.

Para resolver de forma fácil, o importante são informações.

Coloca aqui esse script (use de preferencia a tag code) e descreve o sistema (versão do *buntu, versão do conky, gerenciador de janelas se necessário...). Quanto mais preciso melhor. Só use uma imagem para mostrar algo que não possa ser descrito facilmente com palavras.

Estou usando o BigLinux que é uma adaptação do U/Kubuntu 8.04 o conky é 1.8.0 o gerenciador de janelas é o KDE 3.5.10. Minha rede é compartilhada, com fio na eth0.
Se precisar mais alguma informação estou a disposição.
