ao compilar gngeo erro de zlib

Estou tentando compilar o gngeo, mas ao dar configure acusa o seguinte:

instalei pelo repositorio o zlib, e no ubuntu package instalei essa >> http://packages.ubuntu.com/source/lucid/zlib ,mas mesmo assim da o mesmo erro porque?

Ola Nando, vc pode pegar o gngeo do Ubuntu Games se desejar que vem pronto para rodar, e so adicionar o repositorio.

Humm, e que fui no ubuntu games fiz uma busca e nao encontrei, por isso tentei na unha, mas tem como resolver esse problema?

Na mao e mais complicado, eu nao perco tempo, ja adiciono o repositorio do Ubuntu-Games dou um update e mando instalar, o legal que ja vem completo com tudo que e neccessario e com screenshots dos games tudo configurado....mas eu ainda prefiro o Mame para emular o Neo-Geo, essa versao e muito atrasada....muitos games nao rodam, dos que eu tenho 66 rodam no Gngeo num total de 144 que rodam no Neo-Rage pelo Wine e no Mame rodam todas.
