Resoluçao no notebook

Galera, tenho um notebook Acer 3690-2023 e instalei o ubuntu feisty nele.
O problema é a resolução. O Feisty ta deixando a resolução apenas em 1024x768. E eu gostaria de colocar uma resolução melhor como no windows. Tipo, 1280x1024.
Falaram que era pra modificar o xorg, mas minha ignorancia nao permitiu isso. 
Segue abaixo as configs do xorg e se alguem souber como colocar uma resolucao melhor que 1024x768 eu agradeço.

O meu é intel...resolveu instalando o "915resolution" : D abraços.
