Um cara de outro forum, me falou isto:
"According to their instructions, first login to your Mint machine.
Open your File Manager to your Home folder. Right click in the contents area and select Make New Folder, naming the new folder FullProf_Suite. Open the new folder in this File Manager window. Open a new window for File Manager and go to where the FullProf_Suite_Nov2012_Lin.tgz file is, probably your ~/Downloads folder. Select, drag and drop the file into the newly created folder.
Right-click on the .tgz file, select open with Archive Manager. In the new window which opens up, select Extract Files. This will create a new set of folders and files in the /home/Guisawyer/FullProf_Suite/ folder. Replace Guisawyer with your actual login name, of course, both here and in the following lines.
Open or create the file .bashrc with Gedit/mousepad or whatever your favorite programming editor is. In the editor add these lines:
Code: Select all
#!/bin/bash
FULLPROF=/home/Guisawyer/FullProf_Suite
PATH=FULLPROF:$PATH
export FULLPROF
Save the new script as .bashrc. Open a terminal and enter the command sudo chmod +x ~/.bashrc. Close the terminal after entering the command and getting back to the $ prompt. Log out of Mint and log back in. When you are back in Mint, open a terminal again. In the terminal enter the following command to see if everything is executing properly:
Code: Select all
echo $FULLPROF
After pressing the Enter key, it should echo to the screen the /home/Guisawyer/FullProf_Suite which was written on the second line of the .bashrc script which you wrote.
If it did not work to give the response expected, use your file manager to change the name of .bashrc (which is a hidden file, you will have to enable display of hidden files in your file manager) to .bash_profile and retest by logging out and logging back in, opening a terminal, entering the echo command, etc.
Hopefully everything works now.
According to the website, if you have to update FullProf, you simple repeat the download of the .tgz file, and repeat the procedure to extract the file in your ~/FullProf_Suite folder.
Also according to the website, you have to access the programs 'in console mode (inside a terminal) or use the toolbar (command tfp) to access the different programs.' Which programs can be accessed from wherever your data will be.
Again, according to the website, Depending of your installation you may need to install the libraries of OpenMotif version 2.3. Do that only in case one of the GUIs doesn't work and you see a message of the form: "libXm.so.3" not available or something similar."
