Atualização. Resolvido!!!

É o seguinte, depois de atualizar o ubuntu para sua versão 11.04 ocorre o seguinte erro quando tento usar o sudo apt-get update.

Um problema impossível de se resolver ocorreu enquanto inicializava as informações do pacote.
Por favor relate este erro do pacote 'update-manager' e inclua a seguinte mensagem de erro:
'E:Linha mal formada 56 no arquivo de fontes /etc/apt/sources.list (análise de distribuição)'

alguém aí já viu esse erro e como resolver?

Ola tente esse comando, e um comando so, copie e cole no terminal veja se ajuda;

sudo rm /var/lib/apt/lists/* ; sudo rm /var/lib/apt/lists/partial/* ; sudo apt-get clean ; sudo apt-get -f install ; sudo apt-get update

Se ainda nao funcionar e continuar com o erro faça;

gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

Se abrira uma janela, copie todo o conteudo e cole aqui para os companheiros analizarem.

Como vc pediu a 1ª opção não deu certo, então fiz a segunda e deu isso.

entre em terminal, digite

sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
remova a linha inteira que marquei em vermelho, salve e feche.

Ainda em terminal digite:

sudo apt-get update

alguém aí já viu esse erro e como resolver?

O google viu 1400 resultados=> google para E:Linha mal formada no arquivo de fontes /etc/apt

/sources.list

E a pesquisa aqui no forum por => "linha mal formada"

Fiz uma instalação limpa e deu certo.
muito obrigado pelas dicas aqui postadas.
Deu certo e já atualizei e está a 100%, a todo vapor.
