O pessoal que vem do Windows as vezes sente falta das pré-regulagens de equalização do Winamp que tinham Rock, Blues, Soft Rock, Dance, Club, Large Hall, etc etc etc.
É muito simples colocar este recurso no XMMS. Basta fazer o seguinte;
Como usuário execute o comando:
gedit ~/.xmms/eq.preset
No arquivo de texto que abrir coloque o seguinte conteúdo e salve o arquivo:

Pronto. Basta reiniciar o XMMS e usufruir das pré regulagens. Ative o menu do equalizador, ligue ele (ON) e carregue as regulagens clicando em Presetes > Carregar > Pré Regulagem.
Tenho quase certeza de que isto funciona para o Beep Media Player, porém o comando la em cima seria:
gedit ~/.bmp/eq.preset
Se alguém fizer com o Beep Media Player posta ai se deu certo ou não.
