Synapitc da erro!!! (Resolvido)

Quando abro o Synapitc para instalar programas ele dá esse erro aqui:
E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.
E: _cache->open() failed, please report.


O que eu posso fazer? Alguém sabe?

Experimente fazer o que ele indica. No terminal digite:

Esse comando ñ faz nada, continua com o mesmo erro.
Se eu abro o terminal e digito SU ele pede a senha eu digito a mesma direitinho e ele da esse erro o terminal.

O Ícone de actualização apareceu aki, eu fui actualizar e ele me passou essa informação:
Não foi possível inicializar as informações do pacote

Um problema impossível de se resolver ocorreu enquanto inicializava as informações do pacote.
Por favor reporte esse erro do pacote 'update-manager' e inclua a seguinte mensagem de erro:
'E:O pacote pidgin-guifications precisa ser reinstalado, mas não foi possível encontrar um repositório para o mesmo.'


Como eu removo esse pacote pidgin-guifications?
Synapic da erro, terminal ñ consegue remover.

Resolvido com o comando:
$ sudo dpkg -i pidgin-guifications.deb

Reinstalei o pacote e depois eu removi ele pelo Synapt q vou tou a funcionar.

Olá pessoal!
Antes de mais nada, peço desculpa se existir um pergunta como essa, eu procurei muito e não encontrei.

Eu fui tentar atualizar o pidgin e deu erro, e agora não consigo abrir mais o "Gerenciador de Atualizações".

Aparece o seguinte erro:

"Não foi possível inicializar as informações do pacote
Um problema impossível de se resolver ocorreu enquanto inicializava as informações do pacote.
Por favor reporte esse erro do pacote 'update-manager' e inclua a seguinte mensagem de erro:
'E:Tipo 'update-manager' não é conhecido na linha 1 na lista de fontes /etc/apt/sources.list.d/pidgin-ppa.list, E:A lista de fontes não pode ser lida.'"

Eu já tente quase tudo, e qdo, eu já entrei em sources.list mais lá não consta o nome do arquivo, eu tentei inserir como comentário, e qdo tento atualizar pelo "sudo apt-get update" ele aparece o seguinte erro:

"E: Tipo 'update-manager' não é conhecido na linha 1 na lista de fontes /etc/apt/sources.list.d/pidgin-ppa.list"
