Ubuntu não desliga!!!

olá pessoal
to precisando arrumar só isso pra ficar 100%(pra falar a verdade falta saber o pq do som baixo mas isso é o de menos).
aindei pesquisando no fórum, já usei o comando "sudo halt" e não funcionou
aqui ele reinicia normal mas não consegue desligar. fica na tela com o simbolo do ubuntu e a barra toda preta e não desliga sozinho.
tentei fazer umas coisas que pesquisei mudando o arquivo modules e o menu.lst mas não adiantou sem contar que quando inicia fica dando vários problemas.
olha só como ta o "/etc/modules" aqui:
