Due to the popularity of Ubuntu Christmas Edition (~15,000 downloads in 2 weeks).  I have decided to make another distro I'm calling "Ubuntu Ultimate Edition" it has everything listed in the Christmas Edition plus much more.  I have however removed Java, Flash and Acrobat reader due to licensing agreements.  Please freat not included in the release is my custom repo which contains all the software and much more.  Firefox's homepage will give a detailed description on obtaining all additional software from the repo.

é ele realmente é pesado....
andei dando uma olhada mais aprofundada no site.... e realmente... ele é relativamente grande (1.7 giga) mas achei as screens dele muito interessantes..... principalmente a parte de login e quanto ele tá carregando o boot.... muito mais bonito XDD

será que da pra por isso no meu dapper??

Já virou outra distro... além do mais, vem com muita coisa desnecessária!
Gosto do Ubuntu porque vem só com o básico, o que eu quero a mais eu instalo!

É Galactus, eu também prefiro o original, ainda mais por que a manutenão do Ubuntu Originalé super facilitada por que nãio tem mods, e tem mais, o nome ultimate, &%%&*%&*$%%$ de cara que colocou esse nome. Droga de colocar coisas de Microsoft aonde não deve...

As grandes empresas envolvidas com o desenvolvimento do Linux criaram a Linux Foudation, entre seus objetivos está a padronização de distribuições Linux. O Linux já paga muito caro por causa dessa quantidade imensa de distribuições. Cada dia tem uma distribuição nova que não agrega nada, e o Open Source perdendo a capacidade de seu desenvolvimento colaborativo. Essa turma poderia ajudar a desenvolver as distribuições já consolidadas, em vez de criar "n" variações inúteis e sem estrutura.

Bem como distribuições consolidadas poderiam buscar mais interação e buscar padrões, respeitando a especificidade de cada uma.
