Instalei um programa .bin (Sigil), mas o app não abre - Ubuntu 12.04 [Resolvido]

Olá, pessoal!

Uso Linux há 4 anos e o Ubuntu há 3 anos. Sempre procuro no Google a resolução de problemas que possam ocorrer, são poucos, e sempre consegui resolver com as dicas nos mais diversos fóruns, inclusive aqui, mas desta vez não acho resposta em canto algum após muitas horas de procura.  

Uso notebook CCE com core i3 - e Ubuntu 12.04 de 32 bits.

Bem, vamos ao ponto.

Para instalar o Sigil fiz o seguinte:

1) Atualizei o Java com este tutorial: http://ubuntued.info/como-instalar-o-oracle-java-no-ubuntu

2) Baixei o Sigil por aqui: http://code.google.com/p/sigil/downloads/detail?name=Sigil-0.5.3-Linux-x86-Setup.bin&can=1&q=linux

3) Instalei o arquivo .bin com estas dicas: http://www.linuxtotal.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1401 e foi de boa a instalação, nestes anos foi a 1ª vez que instalo um app via terminal e achei fácil.

Acontece que clico no ícone do Sigil não acontece nada, inclusive tentei abrir pelo terminal e não rola nada. Aparece o seguinte no terminal: "sigil: command not found".

Alguém sabe identificar onde eu possa ter errado ou me dar uma dica para fazer o programa rodar depois de instalado?

Espero ter sido claro com estas informações.

Download the 32bit (x86) or 64bit (x86_64) version that matches your OS. The Qt libraries are included in the file.

Run the installer from the command line (change the filename to match the file you downloaded):

chmod +x Sigil-0.5.0-Linux-x86-Setup.bin
sudo ./Sigil-0.5.0-Linux-x86-Setup.bin

After the installer completes, there should be an icon on your desktop and an entry in your "start menu".

You can also run Sigil from the command line - assuming you installed it in the default location (/opt/sigil), run /opt/sigil/sigil.sh (you must run "sigil.sh" in order to load the Qt libraries correctly).

Sigil can be uninstalled by running the "uninstall" executable located in the folder in which Sigil was installed. So if you installed with default options, uninstall Sigil by running:

cd /opt/sigil
sudo ./uninstall

Tested on Ubuntu 11.04 (Natty Narwhal).

E para dar uma maior força pode tentar instalar o .deb do sigil

Fui direto no .deb e foi de 1ª! Procurei por um arquivo .deb que pudesse me ajudar e não achei, estava no limbo da web este link?
