sem sinal wireless notebook

    ola uso ubuntu 10.04 no note e não consigo pegar sinal de nada (wifi) nem aparece rede para procurar instalei Rutil T wlan manager ele da erro e nem abre  e wifi radar ele indica not connected sendo que a wireless esta ativada era pra dar sinal pq tem muitas redes , mas não da nada digitei os seguintes comandos e os resultados. O que sera? driver, configuração,ou não pega mesmo ? muito agradecido

Olá marcioanjus,

Desinstale os dois programas, pois provavelmente um dos dois está atrapalhando o funcionamento de sua rede. Eu desconfio principalmente do wifi radar, pq até onde eu sei ele é pra outro tipo de placa.

Tem muito tempo que vc instalou seu ubuntu?

muitas dessas placas wifi sõa pelo usb, então você teria que usar o comando lsusb para saber se ele esta mesmo conectado e também qual o modelo/marca do equipamento.

desistalei os 2 mas mesmo assim nada,tem umas 4 semanas que eu instalei optei por essa versão 10.04 por ser LTS,e pelos programas que eu ja tinha na minha cpu, a placa wifi é interna não aquelas USB a marca do note é Centrium T4.500 ele veio com o FENIX mas como estou acostumado com ubuntu optei por ele no fenix tudo funcionava

Se você desativar a sua placa wifi a informação sobre a placa "Cambridge Silicon Radio" permanece ?
A maioria dos notebooks que eu conheço a placa wifi aparece listada no lsusb (quando estão ativos)

Não é muito comum, mas eu vou te recomendar instalar o sistema novamente. Assim que terminar de reinstalar, com o sistema limpo, volte aqui pra gente fazer a detecção e instalação da sua placa de rede.
