Crtl+ Alt+ F1

Quando estou na interface grafica e tento mudar pro terminal Crtl+ Alt+ Fx nao fuciona, nao consigo entrar em nehuma tty.

coloquei todo o conteudo do seu arquivo dentro do meu, reiniciei a maquina e cheguei ate trocar o teclado so que nao funcionou.

hoje apareceu um usuario com esse mesmo problema no canal #ubuntu-br, seria você mesmo?
Seria bem interessante que você desse tail -f /var/log/messages e pressionasse o ctrl+alt+fx
Talvez surja alguma luz.
O innitab ele apenas diz quantos serão os ttys, mas nao define as teclas para acessa-los.
Vou continuar tentando descobri qual pode ser o problema.

Uma alternativa é o seguinte:
o comando chvt alterna entre as tty, mas só pode ser executado pelo root, então você configura o sudo para todos os usuários comums poderem executar o chvt sem pedir senha, ai você associa as hot keys:
Ctrl + F1 - sudo chvt1
assim vai...
