Gaim desconectando

Pessoal to com um problema que agora começou a me encher!!! eu uso o Gaim no Dapper, e no Breezy, e sempre que estou conversando, ou mesmo inativo, os protocolos tanto MSN como o Jabber desconetam-se a cada 3 minutos, e me falaram que talvez poderia ser problema de conexão, modem, etc.... mas... no windows meu irmao usa normalmente, inclusive o Gaim também!
Enquanto escrevo aqui, já caiu umas duaz vezes, e tive oportunidade de pegar umas das mensagens de debug como "gaim -d"
