Olá a todos, gostaria novamente de pedir vossa ajuda.

Vou explicar:

Tenho dois HD's SATA, um para os SO's (Ubuntu e XP) e outro para backup. Hoje resolvi retirar o HD SATA que serve para backup, então, ao ligar o PC descobri que não consigo ter acesso ao XP sem o HD de backup. Não consigo entender, pois os dois SO's estão instalados no hd que está na máquina e não no de backup, que retirei.

Ao tentar acessar o XP sem o hd de backup no PC, recebo a seguinte mensagem:

selected disk does not exist

Já pesquisei no fórum, e percebi que outros usuários tiveram um problema parecido com o meu, no entanto, percebi que cada caso teve uma solução diferenciada devido a apresentação de alguns comandos e arquivos, os quais apresentarei em seguida.

E aí Risaldo Costa... blz?

Pois é cara... Tive um problema semelhante ao seu...
No meu caso foi um pouco diferente, já que tenho 1 HD p/ cada sistema...
Como eu havia instalado o Ubuntu com o HD do rWindows fora da máquina, ele não configurou o GRUB sozinho...
Após muita pesquisa (digna de um cara chato que quer aprender, mas que não manja bost~!@# nenhuma de Linux), fui descobrir o que era...rs
No meu caso utilizo 5 HDs no micro...
1º IDE Master: Ubuntu
1º IDE Slave: Arquivos (NTFS)
1º SATA: rWindows
2º SATA: Arquivos (NTFS)
3º SATA: Arquivos (NTFS)

Com um certo receio de "perder o arranque" do rWindows, arranquei tds os HDs do micro e deixei somente o 1º IDE Master...
Após instalação do Ubuntu espetei tds os HDs de volta no micro (tive problemas com fstab também, mas é outro "causo")...
Inseri os comandos na unha seguindo diversos tutos na NET, como um do Morimoto e inclusive os daqui do Fórum, mas ele dizia sempre que faltava NTDLR...
Foi por acaso que na linha "map" troquei os números que estavam assim:

E ficaram assim:

Resolvi postar aqui pq, de repente, alguém esteja passando ou venha passar por problema semelhante...
