Problemas co apt-get update

Olá, amigos!

Fiz as alterações do sources.list conforme vi no topico de instalação que esta neste forum. Porem ao dar o update ele verifica e so retorna erros 404 falando que os pacotes não foram encontrados no servidor.

Alguém poderia me auxiliar a resolver isto?

PS: Uso o ubuntu 7.10 Server.

Tem como colocar o arquivo /etc/sources.list (se colocar em negrito a parte alterada do arquivo facilita muito ainda... hehehe), e também os erros que estão acontecendo?

Olha já tive problemas com os repositórios "br". Quem sabe não é isto.

Proceda assim:

• Abra o Synaptic (Sistema > Administração > Gerenciador de Pacotes Synaptic)
• Clique em Configurações > Repositórios no Synaptic
• Em Baixar de: selecione a opção Main Server
• Clique em fechar na tela Canais de Software
• No Synaptic clique em Recarregar

Edite o seu sources.list em modo texto usando o vim (editor em modo texto).

Eu acho o nano um editor mais fácil de ser usado:

Ai tire em todas as linhas o termo br.

Exemplo:

Mude de:

deb http://br.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ feisty main restricted multiverse universe

Para:

deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ feisty main restricted multiverse universe
