ubuntu 7.04 naum conecta ethernet[fechado]

olha só...eu tô com o ubuntu instalado num athlon xp 2000+
com placa-mãe da nvidia sei lá qual...mas isso acho que nem interfere
é o seguinte...eu instalei ele e queria usar o dispositivo usb wireless que eu tenho aqui
é da buffalo...comprei quando estava no Japão
aí procurei na rede algo sobre....e daí pensei...vou colocar ele na internet via ethernet mesmo
mas aí nem consegui

talvez a dúvida seja banal...mas eu ligo o comp e aparece que está conectado
mas o firefox nem consegue abrir as páginas
e ali aparece que está recebendo pacotes e tal, mas nada
um camarada falou pra eu entrar em conexões de rede e colocar pra usar ip automático, mas eu nem achei isso
em ´rede´ eu só consigo mudar pra usar dhcp e ipv4, mas nem consegui com nenhum desses

alguém consegue me ajudar rapidão?

como visto pelo lsusb e pelo ifconfig, sua placa não foi reconhecida pelo Linux.

Agora temos que correr atrás de um driver de Linux para ela.


Anote nome, modelo , numero e tudo o que for pertinente a placa wifi usb para podermos fazer uma pesquisa na Net e verificar.

Pela placa de rede com fio ( eth0 do seu ifconfig) voce está conectado ?

Só para saber, visto não ter nenhuma internet é meio saco.

a placa wi fi naum tinha sido reconhecida pq eu nem tinha plugado ela...hehe
