Galera, fiz um tópico recentemente no intuito de saber qual era a participação das mulheres no linux, por que é raro ver uma mulher aqui no fórum, o que não as impede de apenas visita-lo. Mas o tópico tomou um rumo inesperado e tive que apaga-lo.

Quero que esse tópico seja para todos, mas com foco em atrair mais mulheres para o software livre e apoia-las, dando dicas, ajudando e tudo que fazemos rotineiramente nessa comunidade.

Percebi que muitas delas ficaram sem resposta. Outras resolverem seu problema com poucas mensagens (2~6) e não voltaram mais. Talvez seja realmente uma característica mais masculina investir tempo em fórum. Os sites http://www.linuxchix.org/ (internacional) e http://www.linuxchix.org.br/ (brasileiro) ou mesmo os que você apontou não tem nenhum espaço ou link para fórum, apesar de todos ter em algum lugar uma lista de discussão.

Assim, penso que você não deve levar tão a sério o fato de não ver mulheres por aqui, mas digo, por experiência própria, uma namorada de linuxer está quase sempre aberta a experimentar o sistema quanto não é a própria garota, por iniciativa própria, que o quer.

Legal Mythus, mas fiz esse tópico para toda comunidade    com foco em deixa-lo mais atraente para uma passagem feminina por aqui.

Galera, o que seria legal colocar aqui para conseguir esse objetivo? O que vocês acham que as mulheres gostam que poderia ser um atrativo para elas usarem o Linux? Qual característica do software livre agradaria qualquer mulher? Tipo para nós homens, acho que uma coisa que é unanimidade entre nós é o nosso fascínio pelo Beryl e Compiz Fusioin, e acho que muita gente conheceu o Ubuntu ou outro S.O Linux por causa desses programas. Sacaram?

Na minha opinião é necessário que as mulheres encabecem este trabalho, somente podemos apoiar mas não abrir algo em nome delas, que alguma delas apareça e tome a iniciativa e receberão total apoio daqui.

Experimente fazer uma enquete só para mulheres, perguntando o que elas desejam e que tipo de apoio gostariam, deixe elas pensarem e responderem.

Acho que isso tudo tem a ver, por exemplo, que homens prefiram a área de exatas e as mulheres a área de humanas. Homens são seres mais racionais, já as mulheres são mais emocionais. É mais fácil você encontrar mulher na Internet no orkut, MSN e outros sites de relacionamento do que em fórum de informática. Mas as que aqui estiverem, sejam bem-vindas!
