dvdstyler fecha no ubuntu 12.04

Estou montando um projeto no dvdstyler usando o Ubuntu 12.04.
O Ubuntu está atualizado, com plugins n-vidia e ffmpeg.
Eu monto o projeto com vídeos editados em 16x9.
Uso vídeos em m2v e áudio em ac3. O dvdstyler reconhece os arquivos e até os une.
Daí mando gerar a imagem iso. Nessa hora aparecem algumas linhas de programação - e depois o programa fecha.
O mesmo acontece se eu usar arquivos mov.
Já desinstalei o programa e reinstalei depois da última atualização e  continua fechando.
É tão rápido que não dá nem pra ver até onde ele chega. O programa cria as pastas para a imagem ISO e fecha.
Preciso de ajuda! Grato!

Remova essa instalação, faça o download em um dos links acima, de preferência do site oficial, instale e execute novamente.

Instalei o Ubuntu 12.10. Atualizei, instalei os pacotes, tudo certinho.
Porém o DVD Styler está com o mesmo problema.
Tanto no Ubuntu 12.04 como no 12.10 a versão do DVDstyler é a mesma: 2.1
Mas já existe uma versão nova dele.
Como instalar a versão nova pelo terminal?
