ele nao aparecia antes no sudo scanimage -L, antes eu havia entrado com sudo no gimp e dava o mesmo erro, agora no Gimp como sudo aparece um erro diferente, aparece escrito

"Falha ao abrir dispositivo 'gt86xx:libusb:002:003': Operação não suportada"

hehe to mals mesmo o azar danado, procurei alguns dispositivo diferente para linux, mas todos eles se correspondem com o sane, vou ver se consigo editar alguma coisa ou vou ter que apelar pro windows mesmo
