Resolução de problemas na atualização

Olá pessoal,
Sou iniciante no Linux e estou curtindo pra caramba. Ainda não sei trabalhar bem com a linguagem, mas estou aprendendo.
Uso uma máquina 64-bit, ubuntu 12.04 LTS, que está apresentando um problema na atualização. Quando dou o comando:

sudo apt-get update

Surge, ao final, as seguintes informações:

W: Duplicate sources.list entry http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu/ precise/partner amd64 Packages (/var/lib/apt/lists/archive.canonical.com_ubuntu_dists_precise_partner_binary-amd64_Packages)
W: Duplicate sources.list entry http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu/ precise/partner i386 Packages (/var/lib/apt/lists/archive.canonical.com_ubuntu_dists_precise_partner_binary-i386_Packages)
W: Você terá que executar apt-get update para corrigir estes problemas

Alguém pode dar alguma dica de como posso corrigir isso? Vi em vários tópicos, mas cada um fala um coisa diferente (nada resolveu). Vou apostar nesse aqui.

W: Você terá que executar apt-get update para corrigir estes problemas

-abra  Termina e rode o comando:
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade

-depois reinicie o pc

Comente as duas ultimas linhas do sources.list (coloque uma cerquilha no inicio das linhas).

Obrigado pessoal,

Fiz de um outro modo, mais simples, que deu certo. Precisava trabalhar e me lembrei que um amigo uma vez fez esse procedimento.
Fiz o seguinte:
Entrei em "Gerenciador de atualizações" >>> "Configurações" >>> "Outros Programas" >>> Desmarquei os dois primeiros "Parceiros da Canonical", pois se repetiam embaixo.

Rodei sudo apt-get update e não apresentou mais esse problema.

É um procedimento certo ou só "maquiou" o problema?

É outra maneira de fazer o que eu havia falado, olhe o arquivo novamente e verá a diferença.
