PPAs fora do ar na hora da atualização do ubuntu 12.04

Gente é o seguinte eu to com um problema chato desde que instalei o ubuntu 12.04 na minha maquina, esse problema é na hora da atualização que toda vez que tento dar o:
#apt-get update
algumas ppa's não se atualizam e da o erro 404 not found, logo abaixo esta a saida do comando sendo que no final informa o erro, que infelizmente não consegui resolver e estou desesperado pois quando tento atualizar o ubuntu graficamente eu não consigo

Vá em gerenciador de pacotes synaptic e  clique em recarregar e após recarregamento, feche-o e vá no gerenciador de atualizações , clique em verificar e se aparecer pacotes para atualizar, atualize.

Veja se dá certo, dessa maneira.

Esse é um dos motivos pelo qual não uso PPA! Mas tudo bem, vamos lá...

Tente remover os PPA seguindo esses links, veja qual dá certo com você:

1) removendo-repositorios-ppa-ubuntu
2) Removendo-um-PPA

Pode tentar também apagar os arquivos na pasta /etc/apt/sources.list.d/.

As vezes mudando de servidor resolve, de Brasil para Principal.

E se nem o servidor do Brasil, nem o principal funcionarem, tem os vários servidores-espelho disponíveis. Já quanto aos PPAs, tem que ver se eles ainda estão disponíveis para a versão do Ubuntu em questão - PPAs têm dessas coisas, ora estão disponíveis para todas as versões correntes, ora para uma ou duas, ora podem mesmo ser apagados pelo(s) autor(es).
