[pigozzo]

os pacotes nvidia-glx, nvidia-kernel-common  estão instalados
perfeitamentes....

no xorg.cong estou usando o Driver "nv"

quando eu coloco ele como "nvidia" a resulção não chega a 1280 x 800 (widescreen)

meu ubuntu roda em um notebok HP Pavilion zv5000

a placa de video é

VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation NV17 [GeForce4 440 Go 64M] (rev a3)

como eu disse antes se eu trocar o driver da pau, a resolução naum troca.


Com esse problema da placa de video naum consigo assistir videos sem dar pequenas travadinhas e também naum consigo usar o MPlayer.

Cara pra que acrescentar se ja tema resolução que eu preciso  "1280x800", e por sinal se vc olhar no meu arquivo só tem essa resolução, que é pra naum haver erro...

No meu tem "1280x960" "1024x768" "800x600" e mesmo tendo apenas essas posso escolher, por Sistema -> Preferências -> Resolução de tela, 1280x800.
