Erro em "Suporte a Idiomas"

Pessoal,
Estou fascinado com essa nova distribuição do Ubuntu. Pra falar a verdade é a primeira vez q uso e confesso q estou apanhando um bocado.
O problema é o seguinte: meu ambiente está em inglês, apesar de ter instalado em pt-br, daí quando tento ativar o suporte de idiomas ele me retorna um erro na instalação do Python-uno. Se puderem me ajudar eu agradeço.

Se eu simplesmente copiar os pacotes da minha maquina do trab para a maquina de casa, funciona?

Como está o arquivo status?

Use o comando em terminal:
sudo gedit /var/lib/dpkg/status

Vá na linha 17091 e verifique onde está o erro proximo ao pacote 'debconf-i18n': onde o campo com nome `Section8' deve estar seguido por dois pontos ':' ficando Section8:

Removi o pacote openoffice.org-core... atualizei os pacotes e reinstalei. Pronto. Resolvido.

Reescreva a linha Section: admin

Exatamente igual ( apague a linha toda e reescreva ) salve e tente um sudo apt-get update

Pode ser que o ":" esteja em codificação de caractere diferente, e esteja sendo interpretado como um "8"
