Ubuntu 9.10 sem som na ultima instalação - Resolvido

A ultima instalação do kernel me deixou sem som. Ele antes funcionava ok.

Em sistemas>preferencias>som Não aparece nenhum drivrer para configurar

No comando lspci:
-lspci----

fiz este comando e:
jopeu@ubuntu:~$ sudo alsa force-reload

Duvidei da placa om board e provei com um live cd, também não reconheceu e como antes tinha sido reconhecida coloquei uma placa que tinha.
Reconheceu na hora e já está funcionando.
